We are so excited about our year at Stretton. We have had lots of brilliant achievements in 2016/17 including our 'Outstanding SIAMS judgement' and fantastic attainment and progress data for the Year 2 children and also the great results for the Year 6 children who, I am sure have made a great start on their secondary journeys.
We are pleased to welcome our new staff:
Mrs Jones (Deputy Headteacher)
Miss Saunders (Year 5 classteacher)
Mr Clarke (Year 3 classteacher)
Miss Glassey (Year 1 Teaching Assistant)
Mr Doherty (Caretaker)
We are also pleased to inform you that Mrs Pater will be taking on the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co ordinator) role and has already worked with lots of families and agencies to support their children. We are really keen to continue the journey at Stretton of Outstanding and beyond. We have introduced our personal quality for this half term which will be 'Push Yourself' and the Christian Value of 'Love'. The staff will be working hard on encouraging children to spot personal qualities in their friends this year too. We will continue to send out newsletters and texts to communicate with you. Please do feel free to come in and tell us of ways to communicate so we can continue to work in partnership.
Our school is part of the Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust. Please visit their website for more information: http://www.covmat.org
